Our Big Day Out in Morecambe

Games and Activities for all the family
Starting with an open air short act of worship to dedicate the day to God on the promenade. There are 3 different locations where events, speakers, workshops and fun activities for all the family to take part in throughout the day. The day will finish with a big celebration on the seafront with a live band and a fantastic opportunity to shout and sing out!
We are delighted that the Revd Roberta Rominger, URC General Secretary, and Bishop Graham Cray, Fresh Expressions Missioner, have accepted our invitation to speak and that the Revd Martyn Atkins, General Secretary of the Methodist Church, is hoping to be with us.
Activities planned for you to participate in include: puppetry, flag worship, drama with kids praise, getting creative with pottery, the big sing, sharing in contemporary worship, craft activities, brass band, hymn writing and much much more!
This is a real opportunity to share together in a big celebration. We have many different ways of expressing ourselves as Christians and in telling our stories about what our worshipping communities are up to.

We are encouraging people to travel by coach and envisage groups of churches booking the transport together so listen out for news in your area for coach places.
