INTER FAITH WEEK: A WEEK TO GO!
On Sunday it will be one week to go until the start of national Inter Faith Week in England, Northern Ireland and Wales.
In the first two years, a number of you commented that it would be great to have more media profile for the Week. Part of helping raise the level of interest is ensuring a high number of event listings on the Inter Faith Week site. Not only does it ensure more publicity for the individual events – it also helps create and reinforce the image of the Week as vibrant and successful and draws more media attention nationally.
From phone calls we have received at the IFN office we know that the website is being used by journalists to find out what is going on. If you are running an event and haven’t yet registered do find 5 minutes to fill in the on-line submission form or complete and send Ashley Beck the attached form. The online form can be found at: http://www.interfaithweek.org/events/submit-your-event.
We will be releasing a press release early next week and will also send you a copy of this which you can use or adapt for your organisation or local area. We are also circulating some last minute media tips, attached to this email, to help you generate some media attention locally.
